As an Istanbul-based interior architect, Mina was born into a family of classical art collectors in Turkey’s cultural and historical capital.

She spent her childhood in her family’s mansion on the side of Istanbul’s Bosphorus ,a site of historical symbiosis, which introduced her to a multi-cultured tradition and life style.

From a very young age, she has been passionate about different periods of architectural history, interior design, art and furnishing. Her eye for art was culitvated by attending antique shows and auctions and gained more insight and understanding of artistic disciplines.

After college, she spent six years working for renowed architecture company, TALU ARCHITECURE WORLDWIDE, based in Istanbul; with branches in Milan and Miami. She then worked for the ALATAS ARCHITECURE AND CONSULTING COMPANY in Istanbul for another three years.

During the course of these 11 years, Mina gained experience working for many international companies and high profile clients .  She gained experience of designing offices, hotels, residences, villas, chalets, and bank branches.

After accumulating hands-on experience in architecture and interior design,  in 2011, she founded her own company in Istanbul that bears her name ,providing services in architecture and interior design.

Mina’s work is focused on combining heritage design with modern architecture in in London, Paris, Florence, Rome, Madrid, Monaco, and Cote d’Azur.

Her ability to blend elements from different eras, periods, and styles allows her to create own GUSTO.

For Mina, style equates lifestyle and must therefore promote harmony and well-being.

Her philosophy can be summarized as ‘love, color, risk taking, and staying curios’. She has always been attracted to designs that explore the intelligent use of materiality, juxtapose stylistic influences from a range of eras, and bring a touch of unexpected.’

Mina gets inspired by everything; nature, movies, fashion, literature, art and most importantly travel. She continues her travels to create a constantly evolving style .

Besides her passion of interior design, horse back riding has been another passion from a young age and licenced rider.

She is a member of numerous private clubs in Istanbul, including Cercle d’Orient, the Moda Deniz Club, the Buyukada Anadolu Club, the Maslak Equestrian Riding Club.
